Alejandra Rajal is a documentary photographer born and based in Mexico. Her vision focus mainly on creating awareness to different realities through photographs, believing this would bring social conscience, empathy and sensibility to others. In 2011 she moved to the UK to live and study for a year as an exchange student and in 2013 she received her Bachelor´s degree in Design and Advertising. However, in 2016 she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a professional photographer and started to work from scratch. She has had the opportunity to attend to some of the most innovative workshops such as: Boreal Bash IV from Boreal Collective along with Blackbox, and most recently the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop 2017. These experiences have given her the chance to meet new fellow photographers and grow as a storyteller by learning, practicing and getting constant feedback.

The body of work she has been working on is oriented to gender, environment and faith.
